They offer their senior discount on the last Thursday of each month. On this day, seniors receive a 20 percent discount on eligible items. To receive this discount, you must be over 65 years old and have a Shoppers Optimum card, which is free to obtain. The drugstores Lawtons and Rexall also have senior appreciation days where you’ll find great discounts. Lawtons offers a senior discount day once per month—the day varies, so be sure to check their website to see when the next one is. On this day, anyone who is over 55 receives 20 percent off eligible items. Rexall PharmaPlus also offers one senior discount day each month where seniors over 55 receive 20 percent off.
