7) College Tuition
As crazy as it may sound, under certain circumstances you may be able to get a college education, undergraduate or graduate, for free and avoid the highly-dreaded student debt. For instance, there are some schools, including Barea College in Lexington, Kentucky, which grants full-tuition scholarships to all students. There are also schools such as College of the Ozarks which give free tuition in exchange for a work program. As for graduate school, many companies will help out their employees financially for getting a graduate degree. There may be certain requirements involved, such as working at the company a certain number of years or maintaining a certain GPA, but considering over half the companies surveyed by the Society for Human Resource Management offer graduate education assistance or tuition reimbursement, seeking out a company with such benefits is a great idea for people who want to further their education.
